Usually involved in the French Championship Sébastien Pourcel did a convincing performance in the Belgian series, as he finished second in Nismes. Fourth of this round his brother Christophe keeps his second place in the standings, while Gregory Aranda ended sixth for his come back. After a desappointing GP of Sweden Sébastien Pourcel decided to race the fifth round of the Belgian Championship in Nismes, among several MX1 GP riders.
He clocked the fastest lap time in qualifications, and then grabbed the holeshot of the three heats on this former GP and MX of Nations track. Leading the three races he suffered from pumped arm in the opening heat and finished third behind Strijbos and Ramon. Runner up of the second race behind Strijbos, he lost the leadership of the last moto when he crashed while passing a laper.
Second of this race and the event behind Strijbos, he finally beats Ramon and his brother Christophe fourth of the event. Runner up in the timed practice session, Christophe finished twice fourth and one time fifth, as he crashed while battling with Ramon in the second heat.
For his first race since his thumb injury in Sweden, Gregory Aranda did a great come back on a 450 with a seventh and two sixth positions. Sixth of the event, he entered the top ten of the series just a few days before the second Italian GP in Faenza next week end
