A galaxy of motorcycle celebrities and superb machines will be gathering at the National Motor Museum for the 12th Motorcycle World event on 24th & 25th June, the biggest and most successful motorcycle show in the South. This year we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club with 60 vintage bikes riding around the Beaulieu demonstration circuit.
A packed programme of events in the Arena will feature Former World Champion Endurance Racer Jean-François Baldé, riding one of his ex-works Kawasaki bikes and Jason Finn, wowing his fans with stunt riding on a modern trials machine. Sammy Miller will be bringing his Grand Prix Demonstration Team with Stuart Graham, Tommy Robb, Ralph Bryans, Mick Grant, Phil Read and ex-works rider, Roger Hurst.
Visit the Grass Circuit for action of a different kind with Speedway, Motocross and Quad demonstrations. Speedway stars include Australian Champions Jason Doyle and Craig Boyce, British No 4 Series Rider Simon Walker, the Isle of Wight and Poole Speedway as well as outfits from the World Sidecar Speedway Series, 1000cc sidecars and 500cc solo grass track racing machines. Other highlights include the Waterside Junior Motorcycle Club giving demonstrations of Trials Motorcycling and Pushbike Trials, Mini Motos and Youth Motocross. On display will be machines owned by Australian Champion Leigh Adams, Under 21 World Champion Antonio Lindback and 7 times World Champion Tony Rickardsson.
Major manufacturers planning to come to the show include BMW, Aprilia, Ducati, Royal Enfield, Victory, Suzuki and Yamaha. See all the latest models at special exhibition prices and meet their Race Teams and Riders. See the displays put on by the Classic and Modern Owners Clubs which include MV Agusta, Moto Rumi, Kawasaki, The Kettle Club, Suzuki, Ducati, BMW, the Vintage Motorcycle Club and the Velocette Owners Club. New for 2006 is the Quad Village, the new home of Quads and All Terrain Vehicles at Beaulieu. See the latest models from leading manufacturers: AJS, Apache, Kawasaki, Polaris, Quadzilla and Yamaha as well as a first UK showing for leading US producer Arctic Cat and an exciting brand new product launch of a 400cc 4x4 road-legal quad. Also making its show debut at Motorcycle World is the unique Duquati show quad from The Custom Shack.
See demonstrations of road-legal quadricycles from the major manufacturers as well as spirited displays on the grass track circuit from top racers and the Quad Racing Association (QRA).
