Countdown to Great Yorkshire Bike Show

Coronation Street star and motorcycle fan, Jimmi Harkishin, aka cornershop owner Dev Alahan, will be just one of the stars appearing at this year’s Great Yorkshire Bike Show. Titan the 8ft Robot, Neil Hodgson, former World Superbike Champion and the infamous motorcycle display team, The Purple Helmets will all be part of the action this weekend at The Showground in Cullingworth.

Returning for its third consecutive year, the Great Yorkshire Bike Show presents another massive extravaganza. Daredevil stunts, a wheelie-ing Fire Truck and the latest motorcycles are just some of the reasons why it is a must see for all the family. This weekend will see thousands of people descend upon Cullingworth in Yorkshire for the biggest show in town.

There’ll be no time to get bored with entertainment throughout the weekend. The Purple Helmets will make their only appearance in the UK for 2007 at this year’s Great Yorkshire Bike Show. Don’t miss their action packed, highly choreographed and cheeky motorcycle display and stunt show. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the awesome balancing skills of the X-Treme Trials Display Team and be wowed as Freestyle Motocrossers attempt the backflip once again. For those interested in checking out the latest machines on the roads all the major manufacturers, including Harley, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki and Yamaha will be there.

Make it a family day out and keep the kids entertained with loads more throughout the show. There’s free parking and entry costs just £10 for adults, £5 for Under 14’s and free Under 5’s. No one can afford to miss out on the biggest show in town – The Great Yorkshire Bike Show 2007. Open from 10am until 5.30pm with tickets available on the gate only.
