In June of this year, Dynojet UK Ltd released it's latest toy. The Dynojet Ignition Module, it can be added to selected Power Commander III USB models and is connected to the PCIIIUSB via a built in expansion port link. It is connected to the ignition coils at either an intermediate harness or directly to the coil connectors. No cutting or splicing is required. The Dynojet Ignition Module uses direct coil driver technology and allows a high degree of timing adjustment.

Not only can the user advance or retard the ignition curve based on a combination cylinder can be tuned individually. In addition, it features “Rev X-tend”. The rev limit of the engine can now be increased without the need to make any modifications to the bikes’ ECU. In Advanced mode, with the Ignition Module installed, both fuel and ignition timing adjustments can be made separately for each cylinder.

The Dynojet Ignition Module offers Quick Shifter functionality. Using the same sensors that the bikes that have 8 injectors where the standard DQS could not be used. Ignition timing adjustments will, in most cases, need to be made on a dynamometer on a “bike to bike” basis. Timing adjustments are much more sensitive to things like fuel quality, temperature, and bike setup. For this reason we do not plan to offer base timing maps in the same way that specialized tuning for customers bikes.

The Ignition Module is available for use with the Power Commander III USB models for the following bikes:

03-05 Honda CBR 600 RR
03-05 Kawasaki ZX6-R
03-05 Kawasaki ZX6-RR
04-05 Suzuki GSXR 600
04-05 Suzuki GSXR 750
