Dainese provides the technical gear to the hero of the adventure. The 50th anniversary of the European Union celebrated on March 25 offered the occasion for a project destined to provide a common link for reciprocal comprehension between European cultures and peoples: a 27-leg motorcycle tour to every European capital that will bring a message of friendship to the Mayor of each one of the cities above. With the support of the City of Marostica and Dainese, Massimo Cenci will ride the 40,000 km distance in a 5-month tour with the main message of the importance of road safety sponsored by Dainese.
As the supplier of technical gear developed according to its philosophy of Providing protection from head to toe”, Dainese has a special riding suit for Massimo Cenci developed expressly for this extremely long distance run. The tour is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 from the European Parliament Building in Rome and reach its conclusion in Marostica on September 23rd.
Testifying to the European nature of the event, M.P. Flavio Rodeghiero has already expressed his intention to participate and will serve as the Project’s spokesperson at the European Parliament’s representative office in Italy.
