The red Ducati 916 owned and signed by U2 front-man Bono will be up for auction at the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show on Sunday 2nd December at 12.00pm, to raise money for the award winning charity Riders for Health. The auction will give visitors to the Birmingham NEC Show and pre-registered telephone bidders, the opportunity to take home the stars bike, previously owned by U2’s Adam Clayton, INXS front-man Michael Hutchence and U2 legend Bono.
The auction will take place at 12.00pm on the Blackhorse stage at the NEC Bike Show, the biggest two-wheeled show in the UK and the only place for bike fans to see the latest 2008 models from the leading names all together under one roof. The Show runs at the Birmingham NEC until 2nd December. Riders for Health have been receiving enquiries from people all over the world wanting to find out how to bid and are accepting advanced bids as well as telephone bids on the day.
