The last race of the MotoGP World Championship has concluded at the Ricardo Tormo circuit with a record crowd of enthusiastic fans totaling more than 132,500 people, and was truly a festival of motorcycling. The Pramac-d'Antin Team pulled off a commendable seventh position thanks to the fantastic riding by Alex Barros, once again demonstrating that he is a rider of the highest level in the MotoGP class. Team mate Chaz Davies did not contest the race owing to injuries sustained in the previous days.

Alex Barros (7th place. 47´13´00)

“Today was a shame because I had a great start, was seventh at the end of the first lap, and catching up to those ahead. The problem that slowed me down came during the sixth lap, when I noticed the front tyre had a problem with the carcass, so I slowed my rhythm so that I could finish the race. I believe that if the front tyre didn't have any problems, I would have fought for the fourth position.

Finally, I want to express my gratitude to the whole team, our sponsors, and the whole motocycling world in general for supporting me and staying with me all these years. I am very happy to have done what I love to do, gotten the results that I have, and for these reasons I won't be leaving with sadness”.

Chaz Davies

”I'm very sorry to have been unable to participate in the race, but my right wrist was very swollen and hurt a lot, not to mention the fractured fifth metacarpal in my right hand. I want to say thank you to the entire team for all their hard work these last races, and as for me, it has been an unforgettable experience".

Luis d´Antin (General Manager)

“This has been a season full of ups and downs, with some really great moments and others that were not so good, but I believe the Team has really come together and gotten stronger this year which is only going to help us in the future. I would like to thank all our sponsors who have supported us, and also the Team, who have worked very hard this season.

It has been a great pleasure to work with Alex Barros this year, to see his skills and courage, and also his great humanity. The whole Team, and me in particular, want to wish him all the best in the future”.
