Italian boot manufacturer TCX will be exhibiting at Motorcycle Live from 24 November - 2 December, showcasing its new products for 2013. The latest additions to an already extensive collection include new boots in the Racing, Touring and All User lines.

Racing line:

The S-R1 is a brand-new race boot that features TCX's Torsion Control System® (TCS) and Metatarsal Control System®(MCS), both of which allow movement and prevent excessive torsion and bending in the ankle and metatarsal areas. The boot is made from micro fibre with microinjected inserts and a front padded perforated area for comfort and breathability.

The boot also features replaceable high-resistant toe sliders with a hidden screw and a zip-Velcro closing system. The S-R1 is available in three colours: black, white and black/yellow fluro, priced at £199.99.

There is also a Gore-Tex version of the S-R1 available in black and priced at £239.99.

Touring line:

X-Desert Gore-Tex is designed to meet the needs of the growing adventure bike market. The boot is made from full grain leather with a Gore-Tex lining, three-buckle closing system and a replaceable footbed. Protection is covered with a malleolus ‘carbon look’ insert, a shift pad, shin plate and a reinforced heel, along with a heat and abrasion resistant guard. The sole is a new Enduro design, with a specific tread to guarantee maximum grip on any terrain. The X-Desert Gore-Tex is available in black and priced at£259.99.

The popular Explorer boot has had a facelift for 2013, with the Explorer Evo Gore-Tex. Made with microfibre and Cordura®, the boot has a Gore-Tex membrane and a removable footbed. The boot has inner ankle protection, a polyurethane shifter pad, shin protection, a reinforced heel counter and a specific touring sole with differentiated grip areas. The Explorer Evo Gore Tex is available in black and priced at £159.99.

All Users line:

The All Users line welcomes the Jupiter Evo Gore-Tex, which replaces the Jupiter 2 Gore-Tex. The design of the boot has been slimmed down and features a new sole that offers grip and wear resistance. Perfect for use around town, even in wet weather conditions, thanks to its Gore-Tex membrane. Although very light, the shoe has good levels of protection with a padded ankle area and reinforced heel counter. It has an easy lace and Velcro fastening system. The Jupiter Evo Gore-Tex is available in black and priced at £139.99.

The X-Move waterproof is another new model in the range with a dynamic, modern look and technical protective features, which have passed all tests imposed by the EN standard to obtain CE Certification. The shoe features 'carbon look' reinforcements in the malleolus area, has a reinforced toe and heel and a waterproof lining. The X-Move waterproof is available in black and priced at £129.99.

All new boots will be available in TCX dealers from early-December, to locate your nearest dealer call Nevis Marketing on  01425 478936 or visit www.nevis.uk.com

If they need someone to do a product test on the new X-Desert boots, I'd give them a go :)

The X-Desert looks like a development of their old "Infinity" boot which had a very good reputation and was remarkably similar to the much more expensive BMW "Santiago". No great surprise as it was no secret that the BMW boots were built in the same factory as are some of the, also more expensive, Diadora boots.

Wish I could justify/afford a pair of the X-Desert Gore-Tex ones.
