Venhill, the motorcycle control specialists, have developed a kit for replacing the inner wires on the cables controlling the EXUP power valve. These are suitable for Yamaha FZR 1000 and FZ1 Fazer, generations 1 & 2, as well as other 4-stroke bikes with exhaust power valves.
This kit is a set of two replacement inner cables for the EXUP valve lifter cables.
The kit contains all the parts needed to repair both number 1 and number 2 cables; two 1.3m long stainless steel inner wires, both with die cast BNS575 (5mm O.D. x 7.5mm) barrel nipples. Also included in the kit are two BNS6 (6mm O.D. x 10mm) solderless barrel nipples with 2mm grub screws and 2mm Alan keys to tighten nipples in place.
Fitting instructions are included with the kit.
Priced at £9.00 (Including VAT) the kits are considerably less expensive than pattern parts, which can be hard to find.
