Following lengthy evaluation by BMW Motorrad UK, Bike Trac, the renowned motorcycle tracking system from Road Angel Group, has been approved by BMW Insurance for a 10% discount rate on all models equipped with the system*.
Already utilised by BMW Motorrad UK to great success, with all stolen machines recovered this year, including Charley Boorman's very own BMW R1200 GS Adventure and a BMW S 1000 RR Sport recovered in just 38 minutes, Bike Trac also offers more than rival conventional systems, with the ability for the users to log-in to an online portal to track recent journeys, see live location information and even check the bike's battery voltage.

Bike Trac's Bill Taylor commented,

"We've been working with BMW Motorrad UK for some time, and have proven the system with a number of recoveries, the most high profile being Charley Boorman's GS Adventure. While we already enjoy recognition with several other manufacturers, to gain official approval by the BMW Insurance scheme is great news for our customers, with yet another reason to choose Bike Trac."

* underwriting terms including the level of discount are subject to change by the underwriter

For just £299.99 inc VAT* a Bike Trac unit really can offer an owner complete peace of mind. But unlike other units available, Bike Trac also offers handy additional functions too, so it's not just a security device that works if the unthinkable happens. Bike Trac offers a handy 24/7 web portal where owners can log-in to see the exact whereabouts of their bike, check its battery voltage, review recent journeys and even set their very own Geo Fence too. On top of this Bike Trac also offers 'Bike Down' - a great safety feature for lone riders that will notify a next of kin via text should the bike go over an 80-degree lean angle with the ignition switched on. (* additional annual subscription required, but unlike some other units includes all text costs`).
