Team Rizla Suzuki will have a logistical edge on the competition in the 2006 British Superbike Championship thanks to a new purpose-built race transporter. Transporting the team’s four Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbikes, the parts needed to run them and a full team of technicians is a significant logistical challenge. A well designed trailer will help the team to unload, store parts and operate efficiently both at the race meetings and back at Race HQ.
The 13.6 metre long tandem axle WH Bence trailer is coupled to a DAF CF85430 twin axle tractor unit and features a bespoke chassis on fully adjustable air suspension with raised flooring for optimum storage capacity in the easy-access belly lockers. A state of the art “silent running” auto start 20 KVA three phase generator in an acoustic air mounted box will provide trackside power if needed. The interior features a fully fitted workshop area with overhead and under-bench storage, compressed air and power sockets - giving the technicians all the tools they need to tune the GSX-R1000 Superbikes. A 2000 kg full length hydraulic tail lift will assist with the loading of the vehicle and there is even a luxury office with air conditioning and flat screen monitor for meetings.
