Yamaha And Akropovic Join Forces

Visitors to the 2011 Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC will be able to see the UK launch of an exciting new partnership between two of the industry’s most respected brands. Yamaha and Akrapovi c– the industry’s leading manufacturer of innovative and exclusive exhaust systems – have joined forces.

Having sponsored the Yamaha MotoGP team in 2011 and Yamaha’s WSB team for many years, Akrapovi chas already built up a strong and mutually-beneficial working relationship with Yamaha. Both companies are now pleased to announce that for 2012 and beyond, a wide range of Akrapovic exhausts for Yamaha’s key motorcycle and scooter models will be available exclusively through Yamaha’s authorised UK dealer network.

The after-market exhaust business is an extremely important and competitive part of the overall accessories market and with both companies sharing the same high levels of commitment to durability, ergonomics, quality and design, the Yamaha/Akrapovi ctie-up is good news for Yamaha customers and Akrapovi cdevotees.

The new range of exhausts for Yamaha motorcycles and scooters has been fully developed and produced by Akrapovi cand will feature a unique laser-engraved Yamaha model-specific logo as well as the Akrapovi clogo. Most of the latest on-road exhausts are available fully road-legal and are homologated for EU sound and emissions regulations. For circuit-only use, the range will also include competition-specification exhausts for selected Yamaha bikes.

The Akrapovi crange will cover Yamaha’s main 2012 motorcycle and scooter models as well as some pre-2012 versions of these models. Further details including pricing and availability will be announced in due course.
