Motocross World Championship final GP in Fermo Italy

For the final Grand Prix of the World Motocross Championship the event stopped in Fermo in Italy. The hot weather turned the races into an endurance test for riders and their bikes. With his second Top-ten finish in two weeks Alessandro Lupino showed at his home Grand Prix with his ninth place finish once again his skills and underlined the increasing competitiveness of his Husqvarna TC250. Also the second factory rider Michael Leib left the competitors with his serial production Husqvarna behind and was able to gain a 14th and 13th finish. All in all a sometimes very unlucky season ended for the Husqvarna Ricci Racing team with a 15th place for Lupino in the rider's championship.

Albergoni on TE310, enduro Italian Champion

One week after the great triumph of Antoine Meo in the Enduro World Championship Husqvarna gained its second title in the 2011 season thanks to Simone Albergoni who finished first and secured the Italian Enduro Championship Title in the 450cc 4-stroke-class. Also the other Husqvarna riders were able to bring good results home. Alex Salvini gained the second Husqvarna victory of the day in the 500cc 4T class on TE511 and stays in the run of the title. The other riders Matti Seistola (3rd in foreign -class) and Giacomo Redondi (2nd 125cc-class) finished on the podium and completed another successful weekend for the Husqvarna CH Racing Monster Energy team.

GNCC : Jason Thomas second!

For the 10th round the GNCC stopped in New Berlin, NY. Husqvarna rider Jason Thomas was able to take the lead in the first lap of the race. For the next hour Jason and his hardest competitor Jordan Ashburn showed the most exciting fight for the whole season so far. Over one hour the gap between the two was not bigger than 15 seconds. During 10 exhausting laps Thomas was able to defend his lead on his Husqvarna TE250 till the last uphill section in front of the finish line. 20m away of the finish a lapped rider fell off his bike in front of Jason Thomas who couldn't avoid a crash with the bike. After the race a disappointed Thomas ("Yes I am disappointed I lost the race so close to the finish. But I gained points in the championship! I am strong and my Husqvarna TXC 250 worked awesome.") also noticed some positive issues in the race. In the c

hampionship Thomas was able to get closer to Steward Baylor Jr. who is now only 24 points ahead.
