The Spanish champion Alvaro Bautista will be one of the Suomy riders engaged for 2008 season by the Italian company.
World Champion in 125cc class in 2006, Bautista moved to 250cc in 2007 gaining different podiums and great results. He is firmly convinced that it will be a fantastic 2008 season with Suomy and that he will be a real “devil” fighting for the title!
He wanted two stylized devils inside the graphic of his helmet and flames… something that remarked his “not angelic” spirit against his rivals and in contrast with his sweet and solar face.
The helmet Suomy Spec 1 R Bautista Replica is realised in three shell sizes, high impact resistant fibreglass and special sound-absorbing polymers. Removable and washable padding in top quality hypoallergenic lining as the cheek pads (Suomy patented fitting device).
The possibility to customise the inner liner is a Suomy “plus”, detachable inner paddings and cheek pads are available as spare parts in different thicknesses to customize helmet fit, accordingly to user head.
Removable nose deflector, competition style D-ring closure with button to fix the strap (Suomy patented) and adjustable and removable chin air intake.
Light weight, it is well made also in the not visible details. Special port sizes and specific channels in the EPS enhance maximum airflow, air-wedge top diffuser with aero spike air exhausts and side air exhausts assure the correct flow of air inside the helmet.
The Visor is another Suomy “buttonhole flower”. It’s thermophormed Lexan polycarbonate shield with anti-scratch ,antifog coating and safety lock visor system.
The shield is available as spare part also in the following version: antireflex water repellent, orange, iridium, iridium mirror blue, chromed and gold, mid tint, full tint and flat racing with tear offs buttons only for truck use.
