Norman Hyde has introduced a range of exhaust systems for the Hinckley-built three-cylinder Triumphs to complement his after market silencers for the new Bonneville range. Hyde has been closely associated with Triumph triples ever since the original Trident was first manufactured in Meriden. These exhausts are his first foray into new generation triples and so quality is paramount. The complete system is produced in the UK from stainless steel and customers can choose between road legal & race versions. The internal parts are manufactured from 304 stainless steel and the road legal cans feature a baffle that can be removed for track use.
In addition to the benefits to appearance and durability offered by stainless steel, at only 4.7 kg for the down pipes and silencer combined, these are substantially lighter than the stock systems. Hyde 3-into-1 systems also offer significant increases to power and torque, with gains of 8% power & 4% torque in the case of the 900cc Trident.
Hyde triple exhaust systems are available for Daytona 900, Trident, Trophy, Sprint, Super 3 & Speed Triple models priced at £469 inc. VAT for the road legal version and £439 for the race option.
