Piaggio has developed a range of dedicated accessories to enhance the riding comfort and load-lugging capacity of their extraordinary MP3 scooter. First, is the new 'Comfort' top screen, this highly innovative screen is large and completely transparent and its exceptionally protective design ensures the rider’s hands are covered as well as extending above his/her head to create a bubble, which helps to insulate the user from the weather. Made from high-quality anti-scratch 4mm methacrylate, the top screen combines optimal visibility and guarantees strength through torsional rigidity. The “Comfort” top screen is considerably larger than other products on the market and works perfectly because of its aerodynamic shape and the excellent road grip of the Piaggio MP3’s two tilting front wheels. The “Comfort” top screen is supplied with fittings and sells for £299.99 inc. VAT.
There is also the new 'Top Case with Tilting Carrier'. This 48-litre top box takes the Piaggio MP3’s load capacity to a very substantial 110 litres. The top case has a specially designed tilting carrier, which enables it to “flip up” when the rear boot lid is opened, allowing access to the MP3’s spacious under-seat storage bay even when the top case is installed on the vehicle. Equipped with a passenger backrest that matches the vehicle’s saddle with the MP3 logo on top and two rear reflectors, the top case is also styled to complement the machine’s dynamic lines.
