Rizla Suzuki’s British Superbike Race Operations Manager Niall Mackenzie will lead the ride-in at this year’s Riders for Health Day of Champions at Donington Park on Thursday, June 29th. The ride-in from Coalville is always one of the highlights of the annual Day of Champions and this year looks set to be no different with 200 bikes taking part. The ride will start at the Victoria Pub in Coalville, registration opens at 09.00, followed by breakfast.

While you enjoy a bacon buttie and a cup of tea (or two!) you can watch the rider interviews with Chris Carter and stars from British Superbike and MotoGP. At 11.20 Niall Mackenzie will lead you to Donington where you will go on track at 12.00 for two laps of the famous MotoGP circuit.

You will then be free to enjoy the rest of the fantastic entertainment taking place throughout the day, with your tickets giving you access to the paddock and pit lane as well as the infield show.

Tickets cost £50 for riders and £35 for pillions. For more information, and to book your tickets, call 08702 242 960 or visit the link below for the riders.org.

Important ride-in information:

• There will be a noise pollution test for the two laps of the track. Bikes which are louder than 98db will NOT be allowed on the track due to restrictions in place at the circuit.

• Pillion riders must be 16 years of age or over to take part in the two laps of the track.

• You must wear full protective riding gear to take part: helmet, gloves, boots and full leathers or a jacket and trouser set which zips together.

• Please note that this is NOT a track day! The two laps will be undertaken as parade laps behind a safety car.
