Skidmarx have introduced a race fairing for the acclaimed Triumph 675 that is simple to fit and is equally suited to track days or racing. Manufactured in the UK from lightweight 450gm csm glass fibre backed with woven cloth, one of the first batch of fairing and seat units is currently out on track with Paul Young, who is competing in British Supersports this year.
Skidmarx race fairings differ from road bodywork in that they have no headlight aperture or facility to fit indicators. They are, however, designed to fit onto existing mounting points. The lower panels incorporate an enclosed belly pan, which acts as a catch tray, in order to comply with ACU regulations.
The Daytona 675 Full Race Fairing is produced in white, ready for spraying, and sells for £260.00 inc. VAT and the matching Single Race Seat Unit costs £110.00. Skidmarx also produce a double bubble race screen in 2mm acrylic, which is 33% lighter than their road double bubbles and offers improved optical performance. The screens can be purchased for £49.95. Completing the package is a front mudguard, also in glass fibre, at £47.00.
