Isle of Man TT Races Co-ordinating Committee Confirms Key Position

ACU Events Ltd, recently appointed by the Isle of Man TT Races Co-ordinating committee to run the competitive racing side of the TT, are delighted to announce that Roger Hurst will be the Chief Marshal for the 2008 TT races.

Mr Hurst has a long and distinguished association with marshalling the TT Mountain Course. He was the Chairman of the Isle of Man TT Marshals Association for 15 years, Chief Marshal in 2006 and 2007 and has been a marshal for 33 years. Roger will be working closely with Bill Carden, the newly elected Chairman of the IOMTTMA, and all their officials, to ensure the safe running of the TT Races next year.  

The Chief Marshal is responsible for ensuring manning levels around the course, reporting into the Clerk of the Course, and working with Course Maintenance Team and the ACU Road Race Manager.
