The terrible French brothers got complete control of the sixth Supermoto GP held in Pleven, Bulgaria, on their 2008 SMRs 450. In s1 class heat one, the two young riders from Husqvarna CH Racing team got immediately the leadership of the race leaving their rivals far away from them. In race 2, Adrein unfortunately fell immediately after the start and had to restart from the very last position.

The younger brother Thomas got the pole and kept on riding with an unstoppable rhythm until he arrived at the chequered flag. Adrien didn’t gave up, but started a furious recover passing his rivals one by one until the fifth and final position. Thanks to his efforts, Adrien got the second position in the GP’s classification, while the podium was all for Thomas thanks to a first and second place.

Adrien added 21 points to his advantage on Aprilia rider Van Den Bosch who’d better watch out for Thomas Chareyre, on third position and getting closer to the Belgian rider with only 6 points gap.

Not only Husqvarna is first in the riders provisional S1 classification, but the brand holds the leadership in the manufacturers chart. In S2 class, Belgian Gerald Delepine imposed his SMR 660 easily on the rest of the participants during race 1, while in race 2 the rider made too many mistakes that costed him to loose several position until he settled on 10th place.

Delepine still holds the second provisional position in the classification at 3 points from leader Attiglio Pignotti. Bad luck for Max Manzo.
The Italian rider who was at his second GP in S2 class was victim of a bad crash during Saturday’s official practice session and broke his tibia and fibula. Max will be operated today. All Husqvarna Staff wishes him all the best for a fast recovery.
