Suzuki's GSX-R 1000 tops UK sales charts

Suzuki's headline-hitting GSX-R1000 is storming ahead of the pack, dominating the World Superbike Championship and selling faster than any other bike in dealer showrooms.

Latest registration figures, issued yesterday by the Motorcycle Industry Association, confirm that the class-leading Suzuki has taken control of the litre-class sales-battle. Since going on sale earlier this year, 1446 units have already been registered.

Suzuki dealers are enjoying a brisk period, not only benefiting from the soaring success of the GSX-R1000 but also taking advantage of a 0% finance programme that allows buyers to ride away on any Suzuki 650cc machine for a mere £1 deposit.
