BOS Performance Silencer for KTM Enduro Bikes

Performance exhaust specialists, BOS, have developed a silencer for the KTM 530 EXC-R and SMR machines that offers a power increase of more than 6 hp compared to the factory item.

Designed to fit KTM’s range of SX, EXC enduro and supermoto bikes, the BOS silencer is road-legal, but features a removable baffle, called a dB eater, which liberates maximum power once taken out. Without the dB eater the BOS silencer produces significantly more power, even compared to the bike’s original exhaust if unrestricted. For example, on the KTM 530 EXC the BOS silencer delivers an increase of 6.3 Hp at 8542 rpm, plus an extra 6.9 Nm of torque, (in de-restricted form).

Handcrafted in Holland from shot-blasted stainless steel, which has a similar appearance to titanium, the BOS silencer weighs no more than the stock pipe and is supplied with all necessary fittings to mount directly to the KTM models, without the need for modification.

Approved and road legal, the BOS silencer will also meet the FIM noise level requirements with the dB eater fitted. The BOS KTM silencer retails for £269 including VAT and full model applications are available from the BOS website.
