KTM launches into 2007 with a brand new special website for the first purebred Superbike from Mattighofen, Austria. Effective immediately the extravagantly designed website will regularly document the final development stages of the much awaited RC8.

From now on the very busy KTM website www.ktm.com, which registers currently 500,000 visitors per month, is all the richer thanks to one attractive new segment. A special area illustrates the comprehensive development of the KTM RC8 and with the use of outstanding graphics, documents thecountdown to the commencement of series production of the first Austrian superbike.

The RC8 Internet platform www.ktm-rc8.net accompanies this fascinating bike from the first steps in concept design right up to the KTM series production of the finished motorcycle - and all this is five languages: (German, English, French, Italian and Spanish). In the coming months, the most interesting facts and background will be made available on a step-by-step basis. Design and concept themes will be just as comprehensively presented as the individual steps in the development of the chassis. The testing of the RC8 motor, the most powerful KTM motor of all times, can also be followed at home on the computer screen. The documentation of this unique RC8 history accompanies the project team right into the wind tunnel for the aerodynamic testing.

As an extra service the new RC8 website also offers a newsletter so that the latest KTM superbike updates can be comfortably received by email – all the way up to the presentation of the final version of the motorcycle in the autumn of 2007.
