Press release:

Arai has released two new designs on its popular Chaser model available immediately; the Schwantz Redesign and Fluor Yellow.

Kevin Schwantz is one of the most popular racers of all time and the new model is a modern adaptation of the design ‘Revvin Kevin’ used when he clinched the 1993 MotoGP (then GP500) championship on the Lucky Strike Suzuki RGV500.

The Schwantz Redesign, £369.99, features elements from the Texas ‘lone star’ flag along with the chequered flag and his famous ‘no.34’ on the back of the helmet.

With its piercing fluorescent paint, the Chaser Fluor Yellow, £319.99, is ideal for those looking to stand out from the crowd or give themselves extra visibility to other road users; such as training schools or all-season riders.

Though the Chaser is predominantly the road rider’s choice, it is equally at home on the race track. Like all Arais, the Chaser has a five-year limited warranty and is hand built; taking over 18 hours to produce a helmet with no compromises when it comes to safety and comfort.

The outer shell is made from Arai’s own ultra-strong Super Fibre Construction (SFC) and features ring-shaped strengthening in the lower section of the shell. The triple density inner shell is lined with a plush, fully washable interior with removable cheek pads to create the optimum fit.

The Chaser also features multiple venting leading with the new ‘air conductor’ duct venting system on the crown, backed up by a powerful, adjustable chin vent and Arai’s patented visor brow ducts. The quick-release, 2mm polycarbonate visor features a de-mist visor lock and comes prepared for Pinlock fitting (included with the helmet).

The Chaser is available in a total of 32 colours and graphics, starting from £309.99.
