Press release:From the glamour of MotoGP, and their technology partnership with the Gresini-Honda race team, LeoVince have now worked their magic on Yamaha's new baby road bike, the 600cc XJ6 - and come up with this lightweight GP-PRO exhaust system.
With the XJ's stock exhaust fitting under the bike frame, complete with overlarge silencer-cum-catalyst, the LeoVince exhaust engineers decided that a slip-on was not an option, and
set about transforming this little bike with a completely new system, using their latest megaphone style silencer, the GP-PRO.
To obtain the optimum setup for the bike, and after considerable testing and computer aided design work, a 4-into-2-into-1 layout was finalised with a small expansion silencer included in the system, finished off with LeoVince's latest megaphone style silencer, theGP-PRO, and suitably equipped with a db sound baffle to comply with 'E' approvals. The baffle can of course be removed for those wanting a more 'fruity' sound! No additional engine mapping or setup is required, simply fit and go.
Quality is exceptional throughout with anti-vibration race spring connectors, visible precision tig welding, high grade AISI304 stainless, individual header flanges and colletts....right down to the machine turned aluminium washers. Weight saving is impressive with around 50% shaved off the stock exhaust system.
