Press release:
All roads lead to Donington Park this weekend for Team Blackhorse Yamaha, as the team is pleased to announce that their BSB Superstock 1000 rider Conor Cummins has been accepted by the FIM as a wild-card entry for the British round of the European Superstock 1000 Championship at Donington Park, where as usual, he will have at his disposal the team's Yamaha R1. The championship is run in conjunction with the WSB series.
Much of the structure of Team Blackhorse Yamaha has been built around the ethos of supporting and encouraging up-and-coming riders and this weekend will be another step on the ladder for Conor in terms of racing experience on the world stage.
It is also an ideal platform on which to further showcase the team and its loyal sponsors.
Conor Cummins:
"This is a wonderful opportunity for myself and Team Blackhorse Yamaha and I am looking forward to Donington immensely. Yes, it will be particularly tough racing against riders at this level, but the team and myself are determined to enjoy the whole experience and give it our best shot."
Team boss
Ian Lougher:
"We are delighted to take our place in the WSB paddock for the British round of the European Superstock 1000 Championship at Donington Park. The team prides itself on its professional presentation and we welcome every opportunity to provide our sponsors with the best possible publicity and media exposure. We are pleased for Conor that he has been awarded this wild-card ride and it goes without saying that as always, we will give him every possible support."
