Dan in the Wars

Press release:

Dan Linfoot the NorthWest 200 Coca Cola Yamaha Supersport rider suffered a broken foot in the late stages of the first qualifying session here a Snetterton.

Dan had been running in pole position throughout the session and was working on a good race set up when on the final lap Dan suffered a crash and sustained a badly broken foot.

He is currently being admitted to Norwich hospital where more observation will determine the next cause of action.

Linfoot:

"That really has made a mess of my year we were flying and I felt great on the bike, I just wanted to squeeze one last fast lap as I knew there was a good chance of rain later today, pretty miserable for me and my team and I'll work hard to get back as soon as I can"

Rob Mac:

"I can't believe our luck this year, we are having a pretty tough time with the new Superbike development and Dan has been keeping the buzz around the team with his personality and the great races he has put together.
"He is a young guy with a big future, this is a little hiccup in his career one all riders have to go through and he will be stronger when he gets back"
