Dan Linfoot the NorthWest 200 Coca Cola Yamaha Supersport rider suffered a broken foot in the late stages of the first qualifying session here a Snetterton.
Dan had been running in pole position throughout the session and was working on a good race set up when on the final lap Dan suffered a crash and sustained a badly broken foot.
He is currently being admitted to Norwich hospital where more observation will determine the next cause of action.
Linfoot:
"That really has made a mess of my year we were flying and I felt great on the bike, I just wanted to squeeze one last fast lap as I knew there was a good chance of rain later today, pretty miserable for me and my team and I'll work hard to get back as soon as I can"
