Plans are now in full swing for the CJ Riders Fund Annual Ten Pin Bowling Night, which will take place at the Superbowl in Rubery, Nr Birmingham, on Monday 20th July 2009.
This year the event has moved from Rotherham to Rubery in the hope to attract fans and guests from the southern half of the country. Stars hoping to attend are British Superbike stars James Ellison, Karl Harris, Simon Andrews and Gary Mason and top British Supersport riders Billy McConnell and Tom Grant. Plus many more stars still to confirm.
Once again there will be a raffle and auction on the night and we are continuously looking for auction and raffle prizes for the Bowling Night and future CJ events. Everyone is welcome to the Bowling Night but tickets are selling fast and it will be a ticket only event, no ticket, no entry.
This will be a star studded event with many riders in attendance. Tickets are priced at £25 per person to bowl (maximum 8 people per lane) and £15 per person to come along and watch this also includes a buffet.
The CJ Fund in 2009 have purchased 300 metres of soft barrier (air fencing) system, which is used at every British Superbike round. This adds to the X-ray Machine, three physios, an ice machine that the CJ Fund have provided to the medical centre along with the funding of the Air Ambulance at Cadwell Park in 2008 and also again in 2009.
