For the first time in the Enduro history an American rider will be officially involved in the Enduro World Championship and will take part to the races on an Husqvarna bike. The rider we are talking about is named Nathan Kanney, 24 years old and comes from New York. Nathan has been engaged in the GNCC Championship in the USA for some years and then has decided to get involved in a new experience and come in Europe to race.
The Husqvarna CH Racing Team Manager Fabrizio Azzalin has declared: There are a lot of reasons why we decided to get into this adventure: first of all Nathan's skills and the passion he proved to have really impressed me. Then, we wanted to try something different and having with us a "yankee" rider is just what we needed! We also think that an American rider will be helpful specially since we will be racing again in US and Canada next season."
Nathan visited Husqvarna Factory in Varese last week and reached an agreement with Martino Bianchi, Husqvarna Sport Activities Manager.
Now the young American rider is back in the States and will return in Italy in January 2007to start the training with the rest of the Ch Racing teams riders.
