Press release:
On Wednesday the 3rd of June we had the pleasure of being invited to talk to year 10 Motor Vehicle Students from Loughborough college’s Schools link programme.
The visit was arranged by one of Sam’s personal sponsors ‘ERF Electrical Supplies’ who also have a long association with the college.
We took along our Yamaha TZ 125 and talked about the possibilities within our sport for children of their age citing the achievements of current Grand Prix 125 riders Bradley Smith, Scott Redding and Danny Web. Although the kids were a little slow to get involved to start with as the morning went on things really warmed up and we had some great fun!
Our visit was very well received by both students and instructors with the following comments: -
Hind Leys School pupil David Robinson:
"Everybody loves motorbikes, wish we could have more motorbike talks and it was great to meet Brent and the Team everyone liked the signed posters."
Motor Vehicle Instructor Eric Heap:
"One of the best sessions we’ve ever had, the proof being there was no disruption and nobody asked to leave and a special thanks for the signed souvenir posters."
My thoughts:
"what a fantastic morning it was, we love doing this kind of thing because it helps promotes the team, the sponsors and finally we’ve no idea where the next Champion is coming from!"
Thanks,
Brent Gladwin
