New Skidmarx Hugger for BMW R1200GS

Skidmarx have developed a neat hugger that can be fitted to the BMW R1200GS and works with the existing ‘crud catcher’ to offer enhanced under-body, shock and linkage protection. This will be a welcome accessory for owners looking to minimise road grime in the exposed area above the rear tyre.

All Skidmarx huggers are produced in the UK from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic = ‘fibreglass’), which is not only surprisingly light but can also be manufactured in many complex shapes. The GS hugger is designed to be mounted from the strut above the shaft drive for a straightforward and tidy fit without the need for any modification.

This distinctive looking hugger is supplied with all necessary fittings and simple to follow instructions. Skidmarx produce their huggers in black as standard, although other colour options are available on request. The BMW R1200GS hugger retails for £95.00 inc. VAT, with an fibre version for £140.
