StompGrip traction pads for the 2009 Yamaha R1, as used by Leon Camier in British Superbikes, are now available for road riders too.

Designed and manufactured in California, the StompGrip is a clear moulded pad that fits onto the fuel tank. The traction bumps provide unparalleled grip that increases lower body stability and reduces the effects of fatigue caused by arm pump, which results from gripping the handlebars too tightly. By helping the rider to grip the motorcycle with the lower part of the body, StompGrip encourages good riding habits too.

Custom designed for the 2009 R1, StompGrip attaches to the tank using genuine 3M adhesive that will not damage paintwork when removed.

Tried & tested by the California Superbike School, StompGrips are available for a wide range of sportsbikes and in universal kits for other bikes too. R1 StompGrip retails at £34.99 for the clear kit and £37.99 for the black version.
