The THINK! Motorcycle Academy has recruited a great mix of racers for the second round of the BSB Championship at Oulton Park; top talent James Ellison, local riders Steve Brogan and Dan Linfoot and the dark horse of the BSB Championship Stuart Easton will all be visiting the stand situated in the race paddock.
BSB Championship contender and ardent supporter of the THINK! campaign, James Ellison, is back on the unit during qualifying day to talk about the differences of riding on the road compared to racing on track.
The dark horse, Stuart Easton, who converted a front row qualifying position into a podium finish in the first race of the season, is keen to maintain this form and return to the podium at Oulton. Catch him on the stand signing autographs during race day.
New to the British Supersport arena and the THINK! unit is Dan Linfoot who’s currently lying third in the British Supersport Championship. Dan is looking to get his road bike license in the near future and has been brushing up on his defensive riding techniques in preparation for his test, so he’ll be a great addition to the weekend’s line up.
Local racer Brogan is probably the most experienced of the lot when it comes to riding both on the road and track, so expect some great safe riding messages from the Superstock racer who’s aiming to hang on to his Championship title in 2009.
THINK! Ambassador and three-times British Superbike Champion John Reynolds will be making numerous appearances for interviews and autographs – don’t miss the chance of meeting a true legend of the sport.
Protection experts from Arai and Knox will also be on hand to talk about the safety implications of their products in presentations during the weekend.
The racers will give interviews and sign autographs throughout the weekend. To make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to get close to the heroes of this sport, visit the THINK! Motorcycle Academy unit to collect your own THINK! timetable and enter the GO VIP Competition - you could be one of four lucky fans to win full hospitality on race day.
There’s loads more to do on the stand too! Why not chat to one of the local Bikesafe Officers who will be readily available to give advice, try out the Honda Rider Trainer or have a shot on the interactive computers to win exciting prizes?
You can find the THINK! stand in the paddock at Oulton Park – just look out for our flags flying from the top of the unit.
