After a couple of laps during the team presentation on the Dutch TT Assen track, today started the first official test of the DeGraaf Grand Prix Team of 2009. On the beautiful track of Estoril in Portugal the first test day was successful with great weather and temperatures of 25 degrees. DeGraaf Grand Prix riders Randy Krummenacher and Danny Webb had a good test and were satisfied with today.?
Danny Webb:
“Finally it feels nice to be back on the bike. With this great weather it was a very useful day of testing. The bike is completely new for me and for the team. From the moment I left pit-lane it felt good. We still have a lot of work to do before the light goes to green in Qatar. I’m satisfied about today and can’t wait for tomorrow.”?
Randy Krummenacher:
“I’m happy to be back on track. With this bike I have to start from zero so and I’m taking it step by step. The first part of the day I was only focusing on the set-up of the bike. I have to do many laps to get comfortable on the bike. Unfortunately we had a small problem in the afternoon which we could not fix in time. For tomorrow I want to continue from where I stopped and focus more on fast laps.”
