California Superbike School Announces UK Dates for 09

California Superbike School has announced 18 dates on which it will run courses in the UK this year. Starting at Silverstone on 23rd April, the school will be teaching riders the art of cornering at circuits including Brands Hatch, Silverstone and Rockingham, with the final course on 12th September.

There will be two additional courses at Mondello Park in the republic of Ireland on 25/26th August, as well as two track evenings at Brands Hatch (May 11th and June 16th). CSS courses are also available in Spain, Czech Republic, Sweden, Greece, South Africa, Dubai and Bulgaria. For a full schedule check online at www.superbikeschool.co.uk

Developed by Keith Code, who coached Wayne Rainey in the 1980’s, the California Superbike School opened its UK operation in 1996.

“Whether you’re a road rider looking to improve your cornering confidence or a racer seeking reduced lap times and race wins, we can coach you to that success,” states Andy Ibbott, who founded and runs the European arm of California Superbike School.

A Day at the School

Each student is assigned a personal qualified Riding Coach for the day and has five 20-minute on-track sessions and five technical classroom sessions. Riders can bring their own bike or there is the option to hire a ’09 Yamaha R6 with the latest Dunlop rubber. Alpinestars two-piece leathers are also available to hire.

Prices start at £342 (including snacks & refreshments at the track) for a one day course.

Courses are open to anyone with a full motorcycle licence or recognised race licence.
