To enable the motorcycle industry to discuss the likely future for motorcycle rider testing The Motorcycle Rider Training Association (MRTA) will be running discussion forums at the Motorcycle Trade Expo 2009.
The forums will take place on Sunday 18 and Monday 19 January at the Motorcycle Trade Expo 2009, taking place at the NEC Birmingham, and will enable the industry to discuss the likely impact of the modular testing regime proposed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA).
These special 45 minute forums will be run in conjunction with the DSA, who will be represented by Chief Operating Officer Brian Gilhooley, and Bob Jarvis, Director of Communications and Stakeholder Relations. Delegates will have a unique opportunity to hear first-hand how the consultation has progressed, and also to receive information about developments to the trainer booking system. Other test-related topics will also be discussed. The forums start at 11am each day.
MRTA Chairman Kevin Bryan:
"The forums will enable all those affected by the changes in the motorcycle industry to quiz DSA on how the next few critical months are likely to unfold."
The MRTA will be on Stand 922, conjoined with Devitts Insurance (Stand 921). See you there.
