The always-entertaining MotoGP 125cc and 250cc World Championships provided a year of surprises in 2008.
Now fans can relive every vital moment from both title chases with the Official Review on DVD. The Official Review features comprehensive race coverage from every single round, with more than three hours of fast and furious track action, on-board footage, behind-the-scenes access, interviews and more.
Two of the biggest surprises were the eventual winners in both the 125 and 250 classes, Mike Di Meglio and Marco Simoncelli. They shook off their reputations as ‘crashers’ to emerge as World Championship contenders, coming to the fore to win the respective titles with style.
However, for British fans the biggest surprise – and delight – of the year was a home victory at the British Grand Prix. Scott Redding, at just 15, blew away the opposition and held his nerve to snatch victory in the 125 race at Donington Park, becoming the youngest Grand Prix winner ever, and the first Brit to win a GP for 25 years!
This was an important moment for all British fans of motorcycle racing, and now you can relive this historic feat over and over again.
Another delight, but not a surprise, was the amazing form of another Brit, Bradley Smith – whose exploits can be enjoyed again in the excellent footage featured on this review.
There are many more highlights to enjoy, including Di Meglio dominating the shortest 125cc race in history in France, Simoncelli and Hector Barbera colliding at top speed in Mugello and two great battles for World Championship victory in an unforgettable season.
Exclusive bonus features on the Official Review DVD include exclusive interviews with 2008 World Champions Mike Di Meglio and Marco Simoncelli, plus a spectacular film featuring the most stunning images from the ‘08 season.
The official MotoGP 125/250 2008 DVD review is released 1st December 2008, priced at £19.99 on DVD and will be available from leading video outlets or direct from -
