Donington Introduce Perfect Christmas Gift for Bikers

Donington Park hosts the only rounds of the World MotoGP and World Superbike Championships in Britain during 2009 alongside a round of the buoyant British Superbikes and the Leicestershire circuit is introducing a Christmas Gift special aimed at the sporting enthusiasts.

The True Biker Summer Pass will provide access to these three key events on the motorcycle racing calendar at big money saving prices, and, passes are available either for the full weekend, giving nine days of hot on-track action or just for raceway.

British Superbikes provide the Spring Bank Holiday action, 23-24-25 May while the British round of World Superbikes, featuring the cream of the UK riders, among them Shane Byrne, Leon Haslam, Tom Sykes, Jonathan Rea and Tommy Hill, will be held over the weekend of 26-27-28 June.

Valentino Rossi, the six times World MotoGP Champion, tops the bill at the British Motorcycle Grand Prix, 24th-25th-26th July, as he bids for an eighth victory at a circuit he reckons is his second home.

The True Biker Summer Pass gives access to the main raceway of each of these meetings for a price of £85, which compared to on-day costings represents a major saving of £53.

The full Weekend passport which gives access to all practice and qualifying sessions, plus all of the racing action is available for a price of £110, and that represents a massive saving of £133 against on-day prices.

“We felt the time was right to give something special to our sport’s loyal fans in these tough financial times, thanking them for their valued support over the years, and giving them some festive cheer as they look ahead to three really great events at Donington Park,” explained the circuit’s Chief Executive Officer Simon Gillett. “I’m sure that these True Biker Summer Passes will be most welcome Christmas gifts for all enthusiasts.”
