Alf’s Motorcycles recently donated a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R to Sussex BikeSafe, an initiative that seeks to pass on motorcycling tips and knowledge, to give an insight to safer, smoother riding and a heightened awareness of possible hazards.

The ZX-10R has a new colour scheme and, as part of the campaign, it will be taken to a number of public events across the region. Sussex Police are also working alongside other emergency services to make BikeSafe a multi-agency initiative in the area.

Paramedic Chris Attfield, from the South East Coast Ambulance Service, has been riding for 23 years and is currently responsible for the ZX-10R. “I love the Ninja ZX-10R,” said Chris, “I don’t want to give it back. I’m quite a tall guy and I find that most sports bikes don’t feel very comfortable because of my size, but I was very surprised and really impressed with the feel of the ZX-10R.”

Mick Godfrey, Director of Alf’s Motorcycles, provided the ZX-10R to BikeSafe and concluded, “We are very pleased to be able to offer our support to such an important campaign. Road safety is vital and it is great that we are able to help promote such a positive message.”
