Kawasaki has teamed up with MotoGP and WSBK partners, Akrapovic, to introduce the latest accessory for the 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R. The race style muffler is manufactured in lightweight titanium and wrapped in carbon fibre.

The easily fitted muffler system remains road legal with European type approval. It also comes complete with the unique Kawasaki 2 year warranty through any authorised Kawasaki dealer.

“The Akrapovic system is a great looking piece of kit that is a fantastic addition to an already sleek and sexy machine,” said Tim Holden, Kawasaki Motors UK Accessory Co-ordinator. “At Kawasaki we are always looking for opportunities to work with leading names such as Akrapovic and give our customers the best accessories possible.”

Other accessories in the ZX-10R’s extensive range include a self adhesive tank protector, scratch resistant bubble screen designed to reduce wind pressure and improve aerodynamics and a rear hugger to protect the rear of the machine from road spray.

The new Akrapovic system is priced at £622.95 RRP including VAT and is available now. For more information about this or any other Kawasaki ZX-10R accessories, phone 01628 856750 or visit kawasaki.co.uk.

The Akra was released even before the actual bike was - just goes to show that Kwak realised even then that the original was pig ugly !
Racefit also have a Growler for it wich , IMO , looks better than the Akra and sounds the part too :)

forgotten pwd?
