Well this is the thing, Rossi doesn't hang off, he stays the most inline with the bike out of all the racers. Look at Elias for a complete polar opposite. He gets CRAZY lean.

There was a bunch of us photographers crouched down at the exit of the Esses waiting for the bikes to come round on lap one. The crowd is still and the air heavy with expectancy. Peoples heads in the distance turning as they watch the leaders scream under the Dunlop bridge. My head drops behind the camera to peer down the length of the 600mm waiting the thunderstorm to hit. Then suddenly BANG, a completely cranked over Stoner appears out from behind the crash barrier at warp speed filling my viewfinder. He lifts the bike ready to slam it into the right hander as Rossi screams in from the right hand side of the picture hot on his tail. My spine still tingles as I recount this split second in time...
