Peter Hickman and Hawk Kawasaki parted ways just before arriving at Croft so Peter was left to find a ride for the weekend and the Dyer Crossgills Race team suggested he try out their Superstock R1 machine for the weekend while Adrian Coates recovered from injury. He struggled to get to grips with the machine in such a limited time frame, but still brought the bike home in a credible 21st.
