Photo Gallery: Cassington Bike Night - Yearly Show Event

On the last Monday in June, as per usual, the little Oxfordshire village of Cassington gets invaded with bikes, thanks to the British Motorcycle Riders' Club of Oxford. This year the weather was perfect so had a very large turn out of all sorts of bikes. The usual Vintage were present, it’s amazing how beautifully kept and ridden some of these bikes are…some even much older than me! The local school opens it’s grounds for parking, the nursery is used for a helmet and leather storage point for a small fee, there’s stalls under gazebo’s selling locally made refreshments, a beer tent, numerous foods vans and the local pubs. This event always makes me jealous of the people who live in this village. They all come together welcoming the thousands of visitors coming through. They let you park in their driveways, wave you into the village, look interestingly at the variety of bikes, trikes and quads that the visitors ride in, it’s a really enjoyable evening to go to.
