Photo Gallery: International Custom Bike Show 2008 - #2

The International Custom Bike Show was held at Earls Court exhibition centre this year for the first time. The venue was hot, busy and bubbling with an absolutely huge array of amazing bikes. I don't think we've seen a show with so many excellent examples. Most shows always have a base-line of basic or standard bikes, but this one had example after example of fantastically beautiful and mesmerising bikes. Looking at each bike you could see how much love, devotion and time (not to forget a considerable amount of money) was invested in each master-piece. No bike here was constructed from bolt-on components or had standard paint-work.

It's refreshing to see a show in London that celebrates the diversity of biking in our great capital. London hosts such a wide spectrum of biking interests and shows like this are needed to foster interest and gain outside exposure, letting the work know about the custom bike culture we have here.

The show was only mildly let down by a lack of adequate air-conditioning and a total lack of sign-posting on the entrance, leading to us going into a food show at Earls Court (!). We look forward to seeing this show again next-time. For now, please enjoy the photos.
