Description
Jay bought the 750 the day they became available in March 2004, a few weeks after his 2001 model was stolen from his workplace in Clarkenwell. Three weeks later it was run in and flying around the Silverstone GP circuit, before slowly being modified to suit his tastes. By the end of 2004, it was a trackday veteran across the UK and Europe. The list of modifications is fairly extensive, but looks a little something like this:
Akrapovic carbon bolt-on, Braking wavey rear disc, Gilles chain adjusters + titanium nuts, Gilles rearsets, Woodcraft clipons, Renthal grips, Brembo 19x20 , master-cylinder, Goodridge braided hoses (front/rear), Dynojet quickshifter, Power Command 3 USB, AFAM 520 chain, Renthal sprockets (-1 on the front), R&G swingarm, frame and fork sliders, Suzuki carbon accessories, CRG fold-up clutch lever, Puig double-bubble screen, SJP carbon block-off plates, SJP tank quick-release system, Digi gear indicator, Preload adjusters, Ohlins 46 PRXLS shock, Metzler Racetec tyres, Watsen indicators, Clear Alternatives tail-light unit, BMC race air-filter, Carbon Loraine brake pads, Onboard video system, Tapeworks decal overlays, NRC engine cover.
