Description
This was LB's second organised trackday, with more than a dozen members attending and having a great time. The event was organised through our trackday partner, Focused Events, with not just the day available, but also an evening aspect thrown in as well! It was a 'Superbike Magazine' event, so there was a fairly large array of very expensive and blinged up bikes.
This circuit is fantastic, it's was the full 3 mile circuit that we rode, the same one near enough that the F1 cars go round. The F1 cars had gone round a couple of days earlier, you could see the huge black lines of rubber left by them, and the circuit was extremely grippy! The track flows very nicely, with some exceptionally fast parts to really crank the bikes open on.
We had a double garage to ourselves, with all the creature comforts set of to make the day easier, thanks to Chuffster, Storm-in-a-D-Cup and MarkyMark. Everyone had a great time and there were no major incidents, apart from Francesco who decided to see what the gravel-traps were like up-close.
We hope to organise a few more trackdays for this year, so watch the track-days forum for more details. Thanks to everyone that came along, and to B who was as enthusiastic as ever with helping people get their heads and suspension sorted! Chuffster... well, that guy is fast!
