Description
Yesterday LB went to the 11th annual Expo Trade Show at Stonleigh Park in Coventry to have a look at what’s new in bike world for 2006. The show itself was the largest show of its kind ever to be held in the UK, with over 220 exhibitors set up for the three day event and over 5000 visitors expected to attend this year. Since its inception in 1996, Expo has established itself as Europe’s biggest and most successful aftermarket show for motorcycle, ATV and scooter trade professionals with millions of pounds worth of pre-season orders and forward orders being placed each year.
Most, if not all of the motorcycle industries profitable business will be done during the Expo Show, as dealers check out all of the new ranges, weigh up their requirements for coming season and in many cases place their orders. Apart from the products and the millions of pounds worth of orders and forward orders they generate, Expo also provides an annual opportunity for exhibitors to meet face-to-face with dealers and buyers from all regions of the country and to network with fellow exhibitors.
LB thought they’d give you a sneak preview of what to expect on your local bike shop racks and shelves this year. There were a lot of new and interesting products for you and your beloved machine from some amazing new GP exhaust systems from Micron, new clothing and helmet designs from Davida UK and Tucano Urbano, parts and accessories, workshop equipment, lubricants, tyres, tracking devices and security products to some rather sexy carbon bits for your bike. We hope the gallery will whet your appetite and give you some new ideas for the coming year. LB would like to thank Chris from AdrenalinX for the entertainment throughout the day and for kindly giving us a lift to and from the venue.
