Description
Street Fighter Sunday at the Ace Café London is a day in the calendar that should never be missed. It’s the one main day in the year that all bedlam breaks loose and the nutters come out to play. Unfortunately after a couple of hours of playing, a large police presence was felt. This stopped the road outside from being used for the usual wheelies and stoppies, but on a good note it prevented any nasty accidents.
The London-based stunters put on a great stunt show, followed by the X-Boyz from Germany, who liked to play with fire. The Mad Count was there acting his usual silly self and Mike from M9 Performance was on hand to turn dreams into reality, talking to future customers about the next funky modifications he can do to their bikes. LB's Foxy was there representing Adrenalin X, and Jay was capturing the day’s antics on camera. There were plenty of amazing bikes to drool over, and trying to imagine the amount of hours of love and devotion put into these machines is incomprehensible. Also on site was Brian who owns Dukes mobile tyre van, he looked after the stunters for the day...
The weather was not completely kind to us with a few quite heavy showers, but that didn’t dampen the electric atmosphere that continued throughout the day. With over 2000 people in attendance, many bringing friends and loved-ones to make a day out of it, the day was well organised and by far the best to date. So get your diaries out and pen in Street Fighter Sunday in for next August.
