Description
LB is starting a regular event of featuring the best member bikes. Bikes which meet the LB standard are those which have had thought and careful design put into making them special. This doesn't necessarily mean the latest bike with a string of bolt-ons, it could be anything that has had love applied by its owner. First in the member series is Su-pervemoto with his KTM 660 Supermoto.
Su-pervemoto's KTM caught our attention with its simplistic approach to enhancing the supermoto experience, making it lighter with the carbon-fiber bodywork, perform better with engine & exhaust upgrades and some subtle bodywork decals to give it some style. Su-pervemoto describes his bike as:
KTM 660
- Full carbon bodywork
- Airbox replaced by K&N filter
- Brisk spark plug
- Carb set up by HM racing
- HM racing quickshift gear lever
- LED rear light
- PIAA headlight bulb (v. bright)
- Number plate under wheel-arch
- ISR master cylinder
- Orange carb breather tubes
- Pulse racing billet fuel cap
- PEC GAZ crash bobbins
- Avon Pro Extreme wet tyres
Mods to come include: Wheels, swingarm, frame, subframe, triple clamps, kickstart, pegs, handlebars all to be powder-coated satin black, HM Racing silver tune.
The bike puts out 65bhp at the wheel and is a torque monster.
