Just passed vahuxall bridge after the gatso heading towards chelsea on the embankment there is a tripod mounted gun in the back of a police van and they where setting up a free mot staion

Just wondering.....

The mobile camera units e.g. in vans etc are, I believe, front facing.  So presumably bikes are impervious to this taxation method?  Is this the case?

Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils....

Depends - it is not unknown for them to operate with twinned forward and rear facing cameras.

in my case it was man with speed gun .... no escape from the hairdryer and the outriders/panda cars down the road !!

did anyone ever do a "the police run speed traps here" map ?

looks liek they was there again today, but on teh other side, they had a couple of cars pulled over, didnt notice any vans tho? wich way was the camera pointing>? there was slow traffic when i went through.

Another favourite is outside the Tate on the other side of the lights going onto Millbank.

Top Tip.

Don't worry about being first away from the lights there.
